Although on the pricey side at $249 the Apple Airpods Pro are true earbuds awesome, sound great and are extremely comfortable.
Included with the Apple Airpods Pro are three (Small-Medium-Large) silicone tips with an in-ear much more fitted and comfortable design. The new design is smaller due to the shorter stem making them more compact and are now (IPX4)² making the water/sweat resistant and overall more durable.
The Apple Airpods Pro features the H1 low audio latency chip which automatically pairs with your iPhone the moment you open the case.
The Apple Airpods Pro also uses the microphone and earbuds for active noise cancellation which works really well. They also have an airport and transparency mode controlled which allows to air and sound to pass through. This feature is not only an excellent safety feature if out biking, jogging or having a conversation but also prevents the clogged ear feeling experienced in the previous model.
Having a conversation with them in-ear was pretty amazing because they amplify sound and function somewhat like a hearing aid. It’s amazing. I could hear conversations clear across the room.
The case is shaped slightly different from the previous model and has wired and wireless charging, and gives 24hrs of total battery life. We were able to get approx. 5hrs total usage.
Overall the Apple Airpods Pro are very comfortable, have excellent sound quality and both the noise cancelation and sound passthrough worked really well and were impressive. These are a great buy that we can comfortably recommend although on the pricey side.
