Akoin Use Cases
Akoin’s Use Cases will include Microlending, Crowdfunding, Healthcare, Land Rights, Utility & Solar Power, Usage in Mwale Medical Technology City (A newly built city located in Butere Sub-county, Kakamega, Kenya centered around a state-of-the-art medical and technology complex), and Akon City which is currently under development in Senegal.
The Akoin Foundation is also setting up a blockchain hub, dubbed the “Kenyan Opportunity Hub” in Mwale Medical Technology City which hopes to provide Kenyans with more work opportunities. The hub is set to launch in Q4 2020 and will be the first initiative of its kind in Africa.
